Enhancing operational quality is a vital focus for LTS Global Solutions, seeking to provide optimum service levels for customers. The company is pleased to announce that it has achieved accreditation with the Freight Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), an organisation that aims to improve the standards and quality of freight delivery throughout the UK.

“We are constantly evaluating different ways of raising standards through improved operational efficiency,” stated Dave Hands for LTS. “FORS provides a quality and performance benchmark for vehicle operators. For the accreditation we had to prove our credentials as a high performing operator who adheres to high quality standards. We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this accreditation.”

FORS Membership gives LTS access to a range of benefits, from using the latest technology to develop and improve driver performance through to best practice advice workshops.

“We are now looking actively at using these methods to reduce fuel usage and utilise our fleet more efficiently. In addition, the benchmarking system offered by FORS has helped us to identify areas for further improvement, monitoring and managing our processes to enhance service levels to customers,” confirmed Dave.
