Business at LTS is reflecting the general upturn in the economy – we’re busier than ever, and it’s clear that we need to invest to secure our future. With business growing at more than 25% year on year, we’ll be relocating this summer to give us scope for expansion, growing the business still further with the addition of extra high quality warehousing and new service offerings.
We’ve searched for the right premises and found them, not too far from our current base but with the space and facilities we need to maintain and enhance our service levels to customers. In August, we’ll move to a centrally located 3.5 acre site, with 6000ft2 of high quality warehousing and storage space housing 5000 pallet spaces and freestanding storage.
The site will also feature cross docking facilities, with 24 loading doors, ample office space to house our fast growing team, and plenty of scope for future expansion.
Established in 1999, the LTS business originally focused around subcontracting, but has now grown and developed into a customer-focused distribution specialist providing advanced levels of service and flexibility. Recent years have seen the introduction of a range of new services, designing solutions to match and exceed customer requirements. A clean new livery introduced in 2013 has boosted the company’s image and brand identity.
“Our business is changing and developing,” stated Managing Director Les Nunn. “We realised growth in excess of 24% last year, and look set to exceed that figure this year. We need space for our fast-expanding fleet; the new premises has parking for up to 100 vehicles, advanced levels of security and the infrastructure to manage our planned growth.”
The move will also see LTS investing in new IT systems to enhance efficiency, to improve customer service and to facilitate further expansion.
