Unbelievably we have been in our new building for nearly 12 months. As part of our upcoming celebrations, we thought it would be good to get some video footage of our operations and our facilities.

Being fairly close to Birmingham Airport posed some minor difficulties for the aerial drone footage but we got there thanks to the expertise of those involved.

As a team, we are all extremely proud of how far we have come, not only from our humble begins at Cedars Road but even during the last 12 months. When we first started this project there were no pallets and limited operations, and even since the final cut last month new customers have come on board and the agility of our team and service offering have extended again, but we have to finalise the video somewhere!

Every area of our business from accounts to shipping has evolved and grown this year. Our staff have developed too learning new software, new equipment, new processes and take new licences for VNAs which they have done fantastically.

With our building being Net Zero carbon in construction, our driving and warehouse teams have taken up the challenge in reducing their carbon footprint and the drivers have made huge progress in reducing emissions with some minor changes to habits and we continue to invest in new vehicles and replace vehicles over three years old with ever-improving greener vehicles. 

We’ve welcomed new Senior managers and new staff at various levels in all teams to maintain our forward momentum and many of them are enjoying the onsite facilities including the gym.

With a focus on the future, we will continue to support our local and national charities and will be working with a local SIC in supporting apprenticeships and inclusive apprenticeships for our staff and new employees.
